I have just completed my one-year internship in the USA at Sea Island Resort – The Cloister which is one of the Forbes Five-Star Awardee for 15 consecutive years. I was able to experience and gain knowledge from different rotations of the Food and Beverage department such as lead hostess, server assistant, food runner and in my free time I pick up shifts from the Banquet Department as a banquet server and busser.

I am an excellent communicator and have the ability to interact effectively with the guests, co-workers, managers and other hotel and restaurant personnel. I am also professional at resolving restaurant issues which I have learned from being the lead hostess. I am able to work independently, take initiative and am a very detail-oriented, well-organized individual with an ability to efficiently manage several tasks.

Lead hostess - communicating with managers in making sure the floor plan is set and ready before the shifts starts, taking reservations, assigning tables and and listening to the guests needs and request. Server Assistant in one of the hotel’s restaurant - assist servers with cleaning and re-setting tables. Banquet Server - setting up dining tables before an event, ensuring all food tags are correctly labeled and placed, bussing out empty and finished dishes.
