Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that all arriving guests with reservations are met and assigned to a hotel car or a duty assigned back-up car.
• Ensures that the hotel’s transportation is used for every arriving guest.
• Reads at all times the endorsement logbook, acts on follow-ups and ensures that a copy of the arrival list is with them before proceeding to the airport.
• Coordinates closely with the transportation for cars assigned at the airport.
• Maintains a good working relation with all airline personnel at the airport most specially Department of Tourism staff for better liaison and faster processing of guest requirements.
• Ensure that all lost/delayed luggage are attended to and updates guest of the status.
• Maintains at all times, a pleasant, positive, cooperative and respectful attitude towards other airport representatives and hotel guests so as to encourage fellow employees to do likewise.
• Entertains guest complaints immediately regardless how small and ensuring action is done without delay.
• Meets all arriving flights for possible pick-up of guests with or without prior hotel reservation.
• Prepares and reviews flight schedule, arrival lists, etc. with special attention to delayed or diverted flights. Contacts the Airline Station Manager to make sure those passengers are booked at the hotel.
• Facilitates requests for airport passes as needed by the hotel officers.
• Performs other related duties and special projects as may be assigned by management from time to time.

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares reports on all accidents or unusual incidents in his area of responsibility.

COMMERCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicates effectively with guests.
• To be a good sales person to promote hotel’s image and business.
OTHERS

• Continuous learning through own IDP.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the superior.

• Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of all intellectual property and data bases, both hard copy and electronic. Adhere to Dust Internet and E-mail policy. Ensure Hotel, Customer and Staff information or transactions are kept confidential during or after employment with the company.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least High Vocational diploma in any discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience. Exposure to airline industry will be desirable.
• Have good English communication skills both in written and spoken.
• Possess professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills.
