Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be briefed daily by Head Driver on the schedules of the day.
• Clarify the assignment of transport and ensure that it is serviceable and in working condition.
• Clarify the flight details and name of the guest to be received at the airport.
• Collect paging signs from the Business Centre and display it prominently at the airport for the arriving guest `to identify.
• Provide alternative arrangements for guests in case of delays or breakdown.
• Provide pick-up and drop-off service to staff accommodation as per schedule.
• Assist guests in loading and unloading baggage.
• To phone the hotel to advise time of arrival
• Keep transport clean and presentable at all times.
• Assist guest with transportation other than airport, when cars are available
• Be properly groomed at all times.

ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all logbooks are completed in the correct manner.

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the vehicle is in good condition and rectify minor mechanical, electrical complaints.

COMMERCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicates effectively with guests.
• To be a good sales person to promote hotel’s image and business.

HUMAN RESOURCES RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate with Front Office for pickups and drop–off instructions.
• Lease with Business Centre for paging signs.

RELATIONSHIP

• Front Office – for pick-ups and drop-off instructions for guests.
• Doorman for opening of transport doors.
• Business centre – for paging signs
OTHERS

• Continuous learning through own IDP.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the superior.

• Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of all intellectual property and data bases, both hard copy and electronic. Adhere to Dust Internet and E-mail policy. Ensure Hotel, Customer and Staff information or transactions are kept confidential during or after employment with the company.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. At least High School or Vocational diploma in any discipline.
2. Minimum of 2 year experience in driver position.
3. Knowledgeable in city routes and destinations.
4. Ability to communicate basic English.
5. Possess professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Possess clean and valid driving license.
