Job Description


• Prepare weekly work schedules for the Airport Kiosk. And prepare daily work assignments for team and for any other employees as required, and give instructions for special tasks.
• Perform daily inspections of all areas as mentioned under “area of responsibility” and ensure that high standards of cleanliness and guest service are maintained.
• Read the MOD report and follow-up with any outstanding or unusual issues.
• Ensure that all Airport Concierges and drivers receive full training according to established job descriptions and training programs.
• Conduct performance appraisals regularly with the staff and maintain written records of their performance and training.
• Organize departmental staff meetings, and report the subjects to Rooms Division Manager.
• Ensure prompt reporting, and follow-up of all repair and maintenance defects in all given areas, and ensure proper administration according to company procedures. Report and discuss any delays or repairs with the RDM.
• Ensure mobiles are issued and administered according to company procedures.
• Prepare purchase orders and requisitions for Kiosk amenities and supplies and submit for approval to the DRDM.
• Ensure prompt action and follow up on any complaints and requests from hotel guests or management.
• Ensure prompt and proper reporting and documentation of accidents that might happen to any of the employees and submit to the MOD and DRDM.
• Ensure that all employees are wearing their proper uniforms and are well groomed to Fairmont Employee handbook.
• Ensure a good working relationship with and amongst all employees and discuss any problems with the DRDM.
• Maintain good communications and co-operation with the areas of responsibilities departments.
• Continually look for opportunities to improve the level of service at the kiosk and present these ideas to the DRDM.


• To direct the administration of all the Airport services for the Hotel, public and staff areas; to ensure the highest standards of sanitation, safety, comfort and aesthetics.
• Leads and coached the Airport Kiosk teams towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results.
• Develops, presents and trains departmental policies and procedures.
• Organization of all areas of responsibility to ensure superior service standards are maintained at all times.
• Ensure the effective utilization and productivity to all employees including staff planning, training and development.
• Responsible for the development of all training programs within the Airport kiosk and ensure their proper implementation through the leadership team.
• Provides monthly and yearly reports (Pick-ups- Room sold).
• Constantly seeks out creative ways to improve service and increase business volumes.
• Develops and maintains close and effective working relationship with all supporting departments particularly with the Airport Authorization, Director of Room Division Manager, Guest Service Manager, FOM, Bell Captain and Car Rental Services.
• Ensures strong departmental focus is kept on recycling of any products.
• Actively seeks feedback from guests and employees, following-up and taking action to improve JD power & EOS( Employee Opinion Survey).


• Continuous learning through own IDP.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the superior.

• Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of all intellectual property and data bases, both hard copy and electronic. Adhere to Dust Internet and E-mail policy. Ensure Hotel, Customer and Staff information or transactions are kept confidential during or after employment with the company.


• At least High Vocational diploma in any discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant experience. Exposure to airline industry will be desirable.
• Have good English communication skills both in written and spoken.
• Possess professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills.
